We have defined 11 different loan products, all eligible for clients. But when
opening a new loan, either one or the other of two product lists is displayed.
We can't figure out why.
In one list, it shows: 360, 365, Basic One, Basic Three, Basic Two, Daraja,
In the other list, it shows: Individual Loans, Matatu Insurance, Matatu Loans,
It doesn't seem to correspond to creation date or category. The first list
appears (appropriately) for clients under MOST of the Loan Officers. The latter
list appears (appropriately) only for three of the loan officers, who have the
larger loans. (I haven't checked every single loan officer.)
I'll upload the database values for them.

Bart - the main reason i find that loans do not show up in drop downs for a
client/group/center is that the product repayment frequency doesn't match the
client/group/center meeting frequency. Can you check if this is the case for
the products that are not showing up?
If that is not the issue, the best thing to do is to try to reproduce the issue
on a clean install of Mifos on the latest code. If it reproduces there, put in
complete steps for all of the loan products (all details of the product
definition), details for the clients/groups/centers you created, and indicate
what you expect to happen and what is actually happening. Ideally you could
also record a selenium script using selenium IDE for this (info for this is on
If it doesn't reproduce on a clean install of Mifos, we will need to research on
the Jitegemea data more closely.
You're right, it's working as designed! The list was indeed filtering based on
the meeting frequency. I didn't know about that functionality. Thanks!
These resolved issues should all be marked as target milestone = 1.1 since they
are part of the 1.1 release.
