1. Default Development EnvironmentContents::
To setup the default development environment please install the following development tools:
- Java SE Development Kit 5.0
- Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers 3.3/Europa
- MySQL 5
- Tomcat 6
- Ant 1.7
- Subclipse 1.2
- Selenium IDE 0.8.7 (Selenium IDE is an integrated development environment for Selenium tests)
- Eclipse Data Tools Platform (DTP)
2. Optional Development Tools
The following development tools are optional:
- Cross-platform
- Metrics 1.3.6 (Tool is used to measure some property of a piece of software or its specifications)
- Eclipse Modeling Develpment Tools (MDT) (Tool used for UML diagrams)
- Talend v2.3 (In Mifos Talend is used for data transformation/data integration. Data integration is the process of moving and combining data across the information system. It typically consists of extracting data from different sources databases, files, applications, Web Services, emails, etc., applying transformations join, lookup, deduplication, calculation, etc. to this data, and sending the resulting data to target systems)
- GVim (edit/search/view large files)
- Windows
- TortoiseSVN (A Subversion client, implemented as a windows shell extension, generally accessed via the right-click context menu on Explorer windows (including your Desktop) )

- PeaZip (To create archive files like 7Z, GZ, TAR, ZIP, QUAD, ARC, BZ2, PAQ/LPAQ, PEA, UPX for the patches, etc)

3. Load Testing Development Environment
Install the following tools(s) to setup the load testing environment.
