Background

Developer How Tos is an oft-visited place where new individuals come to figure out how to start developing on mifos, working with the codebase, and begin contributing as a volunteer. The page has grown organically and could use some organization (i.e. an improved left hand navigational layout/information architecture)

OpenMRS, a sister open source project, who we collaborate with, has a great layout for their developer guide - https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/docs/Developer+Guide. Expand the navigation for this section see their list of pags. This could be used as a starting point.

Details

  • Review section and propose a new outline for topics in Google Doc.
  • Implement outline in actual wiki by moving and re-ordering pages.

Level

  • Beginner - Intermediate: Should have a good grasp on flow of content and information architecture but nothing too technical.
