- What are the restrictions on duplicate data? >> Lukasz: currently only validation on file.
- Shiva: are you storing this data on any temporary table or just importing it directly into core database tables? >> Lukasz: D
- Shiva: can this be used for data migration tool >> Lukasz: just for new loan or savings account
- Any status update on file for which transactions have not going through? >> Lukasz: just through log >> Shiva: Would recommend processing data into a temporary table so can keep track of which have failed and which have been successful.
- From chat (Patrick): For importing the loan details, apart from the global refence check does this feature also check the figures. For example if the wrong values are providing. Like instead of numbers the person enters text >> Lukasz: text instead of numbers will cause validation error preventing import.
- From chat (Praveen): Grace Period is a part of product defination right? how that can be given in loan disbursement parameter? Bit confusion.

- Code Freeze targeted for September 5. Plan for release is 12th of September.

Discussion on usage of mobiles/handhelds in the field
- Praveen: Met with unipro technology - done some work on voice technology with android mobile - integrated database and front-end application on mobile - could be integrated with any application
- Biometric voice verification - use it for true voice to dictate and register customers in the field and for final collection verification process (can recognize voice of Kendra manager to confirm)

- Amit: was in demonstration with Vishwas on the Mifos Android application
- data collection and disbursement from field are needed
- if collect data from field - would want a maker/checker concept before sending data into the system.

- Need to include loan officer agenda on mobile device
- Need to maximize amount of data collection from client from the field.
- Shiva: any requirements on digital application form
- Developing Android-based application to design digital forms and can export forms to android mobile or tablet - can capture all the information and then can export data to Mifos calling the APIs

Document Management and File Upload Capabilities Discussion
- Loan application form - need to think about automation as well - i.e. integration with a fax server
- KYC requirements in India -

Discussion on GK upgrade
- Difficulty with huge database size - 300GB - need archival
- Shiva: archival process is a feature we must think about adding in.
- Jakub; remember there was some discussion in the past around this and ThoughtWorks around what tables should be archived
- Action: to start discussion on mifos-developer thread
- Could archive repayment schedules for all the clients and loan accounts that are not active or are closed.
