  • Kakha/Binny: Data Migration Tool for savings
  • List of Priority Gaps (Jakub)
  • Meeting Time (Ed)
  • Product Roadmap Meeting (Ed)
  • Updates on Work (Keith, others)

Action Items:

  • Ed to set up a meeting with Krishnan and Accounting Team to get established timelines for Molly Integration
  • Ed to set up a meeting with SunGard and Data Migration folks to discuss extending support of Data Migration Tool for Savings.
  • Next dev meeting will review Lukasz' list of summarized gaps and begin to create prioritized list of product features that will be open discussed across community. This will be pre-cursor to community-wide product roadmap meeting.

Moratoriums:

  • Keith: Sounds more like needing a grace period rather than a moratorium covering the entire loan pool (principal, interest, fees
  • Venkat: Member starts earnings and then starts repaying - not holiday exactly - for these 2 months interest will be collected, for 3rd month onward, principal and interest will be collected.
  • Binny: what are 3 scenarios?
  • Daily reducing
  • Monthly reducing
  • EMI (equated monthly installments) - either daily/monthly.
  • Keith: In Mifos - set up a principal only grace period for two installments when creating a loan.
  • Small difference that was there was due to a partial month - would need to do a small customization to handle that scenario.
  • Venkat to follow up on list with additional questions

Thousands Separator:

  • Andrew and Jon to start work this week.
  • Binny to Andrew: please send any in-progress JSPs along the way to help with testing.

Accounting Integration

  • Binny: Where do we stand here?
  • Ed: waiting on an update from Krishnan - busy at MCS
  • Keith: waiting for a clear picture on data contract for Molly perspective.
  • Can get something working even if it's just writing out data in the format that is needed.
  • Action: Ed to set up a call with Krishnan and other folks

Data Migration Tool:

  • Binny: is it using existing SunGard data migration tool?
  • Venkat: Found some issues using tool with 2.1 - got response to use 1.6 for data migration and then upgrade.
  • Had a performance issue when doing 5,000+ clients.
  • Don't think version should matter for performance
  • Venkat: plan is to write scripts and use scripts for data migration
  • For savings accounts, clients accounts, would need some more help.
  • Scripts - more comfortable and faster than using tool
  • Binny: concern with doing it from scratch again because so many configurations in Mifos that will have impact on how loan gets migrated.
  • Binny: different people with different tools, each tool has hard-coded values
  • Tool ends up not being usable by end users - happened with Conflux, happend with SunGard
  • Configurability-wise SunGard is pretty good.
  • Want a tool that others can use over and over again
  • Venkat: should have a unified tool rather than specific script. Had to shift because didn't get feedback on observations.
  • Proposal: ask SunGard to share the tool and work to extend this.
  • Action Item: Ed to set up meeting with SunGard and other parties interest in data migration.

Back-dated transactions beyond one period

  • Binny: not needed right away
  • Keith: will take a look at ticket and give feedback on how long it would take to support - off top of head, shouldn't be too difficult.

List of Priority Gaps:

  • Lukasz is close to finishing this list - by end of the week should have it wrapped up.
  • Next Steps:
  • Next week for dev meeting - initial review - majority of call reserved for discussion.
  • Will iterate on this list and have a communit-wide call to get user input and priorization
  • Binny: be careful not to mix product management too much with product development.

Updates from Jakub:

  • Android Mobile Client to be published this week.
  • Should be ready in Android AppStore - not sure if it will be found
  • Was published several hours ago - will send email to mailing list.
  • Binny: Any screencasts/videos - would be useful.
  • First version is limited - publish and then get feedback from community.
  • Plan to make it stable by end of the month.

Updates from Keith

  • Focusing on supporting Binny and Kakha - not too much effort/update on Mifos X

 Updates from Udai

  • Will be ready with the client by tomorrow.
  • Working on the REST authorization calls - had planned for future releases of Mifos
  • Means that someone can decide what REST calls will be allowed if want, can be configured to bypass, etc.
  • Relevant to any mobile app, external app that does change in database.

Updates on KopoKopo Integration

  • Nuru signed up to use the interface so providing this integration will add value to an existing user.

Binny on Save Collection Sheet API

  • Getting date is invalid error.
  • Udai: Suspect it has something to do with parameters
  • Binny: will show the client but want to be able to show that we have the APIs available to support all the needed features.
  • Udai: will try to make the Save Collection Sheet call earlier.
  • No labels
