Google Summer of Code 2012

  • Drexel students on winter break now. 
  • Some students contacted for Google Summer of Code interest
  • Would require registrations/mentors around March
  • +1 for Ed, +1 for Jakub
  • Perhaps Drexel students would like to do it. 
  • Next Step:
  • Are we going to participate?
  • If yes what are ways to go?
  • Udai to start broader discussion on mailing list.

Feedback on Mobile Client

  • Still no feedback.
  • Last release will be for gathering and sending collection sheets.
  • This last version will be released in the next couple of days.

Milestone Release

  • Spring Mobile Framework will be integrated
  • Will display specially prepared pages for mobile client.
  • End of February will be able to view Mifos pages optimally on any phone.
  • Will contain fixes for 6 tickets
  • Will have option to make setting for what version of page you want displayed. 
    • On group loans can now see individual schedules - schedules not always perfect - good enough to be used for read-only.
  • Most related to mobile version of the pages - login home search client details
  • New pages will be added to each milestone release. 
  • 2 tickets related to GLIM

KopoKopo Integration API

  • Will be in touch with them after mobile 
  • Some questions - 
  • Better integration and widely accepted
  • Currently used by Mifos user Nuru - could 
  • Udai wouldn't do anything in Mifos for integrating it - only do it externally through their services
  • Create another application in Tomcat to do with their services.
  • Nuru must commit to beta testing. 
  • Udai will explore if he could work on this.
