The Sign In page is displayed in a web browser at the link provided by your Administrator. The page allows individuals to access Mifos X platform.

In addition, the Sign In page has the following features:

  • Language selector menu 
  • Mifos X version and product information
  • Resource links 
  • Community links
  • Contribute links

How to Change Language of Mifos X :

To change the language, simply click on the drop-down menu next to Change language, and select the language of your choice.

How to Sign into Mifos X :

Your system administrator will provide you with your username, password, and the URL required to access your financial institution's implementation of Mifos X. Once you have your username and password, you are ready to sign in to the Mifos X platform.

  1. Open a new window in any internet browser (e.g., Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer)
  2. Enter the URL in the address bar
    The Mifos X Sign in page will be displayed, as shown in the picture above.
  3. Enter your username in the username field (Default user name - mifos)
  4. Enter your password in the password field (Default password - password) 
  5. Click Sign In to login as super user for the first time with mifos as user name.
    Once you sign in, the Mifos Welcome page is displayed.

How to Log Out of Mifos X :


From any page in the Mifos X application:

  1. Click on the button labelled Mifos, which is on the top-right corner of the page.
  2. Click on the Sign Out option.
    You will be logged out of the system and the Sign In page will be displayed.
