Tally Integration from Pentaho to Mifos

We decided to Move the accounting integration outside Pentaho because

• XML is not a standard output type in Pentaho

• It’s easier and flexible to build Accounting Integration outside Pentaho.

• Don’t want to mix Accounting integration with BI

We decided to add Accounting integration in Mifos code as module

• Admin tab -> Import Export -> Accounting Export -> list of Tally XML generated on daily basis

• Runs read-only queries on Mifos database.

• It uses Mifos configuration so not extra configuration is required.

• Accounting information is available from the UI,

• The Tally format XML can be downloaded with correct name and file format as per specs.

The above mentioned work will be done for Next release (Release - F).
