Mifos 1.6 Upgrade Instructions

Mifos Versions

If you are currently running a version of Mifos before 1.4, please refer to Mifos 1.4 Upgrade Instructions.
If you are currently running Mifos versions 1.4, we highly recommend you first upgrade to 1.5..
If you are unsure of the version of Mifos you are using, please refer to Past Releases

Important Notes

Major Bug Fixes

MIFOS-2006 has been fixed to allow 2 loans of the same loan product as long as the product's amounts are not based on loan cycles. Users may see unexpected behavior in Collection sheet entry if 2+ loans of the same loan product have been issued for a client. MIFOS-3102.
To disallow this in Mifos, use Product Mix to restrict the same loan. See MIFOS-2951.
The Branch Progress Report has been fixed. See MIFOS-2863 for details of changes.

Batch Jobs

The following batch jobs have been removed in Mifos 1.6. If you have a customized task.xml file, you should remove references to these batch jobs in the file.
- RegenerateSchedule
- CollectionSheetTask
- ApplyCustomerFeeTask

Other Updates

If How To Deploy Mifos Transaction Monitor was followed to turn on request logging, this must be *undone *prior to upgrading
If Maximising Browser Caching was followed to implement cache control headers, this must be
