  • What did you accomplish this past week?
    • Set up CI for the android app as well as the python part of the project. 
    • Made the python script to perform the augmentation which reads all photos from the directory. Now users don't have to change the path individually and augment photo by photo. 
    • Made changes to the notebook, so that now it serves by showing what each augmentation looks like on a photo given by the user as input. 
    • Changed the way some techniques were earlier implemented and made them more efficient.

    • Create an image classification notebook to show how Cloud Vision actually trains model to classify images
    • Explore the Cloud Vision platform and start gathering and training data

  • What did you accomplish this past week?
    • Finished reviewing and implementing necessary changes in all PRs.
    • Researched on implementation of CoubaseDB Sync Gateway.
    • Started replacing and testing URL endpoints of the App with  demo instance of Fineract CN.

    • Explore FineractCN API documentation.
    • Continue replacing the URL endpoints to demo instance of Fineract CN.
    • Work on GIS features like location tracking and dropping of pin.

    • Researched Firebase SDK
    • Reorganized file structure of the library as per Android Architecture guidelines

Devansh Aggarwal 

  • What did you accomplish this past week?
    • Added the complete support for standing instructions in Mobile Wallet application (pull request - link)
    • Resolved conflicts in last year's GSoC pull request(link) and made necessary changes in it
    • Made minor improvements in the user interface of the application (pull request - link)
    • Explored FineractCN API documentation.
    • Finalized the project-plan and created a gist for the same.
  • What will you do this upcoming week?
    • Study FineractCN based android applications - Mifos Mobile CN and Fineract CN Mobile
    • Start with integrating FineractCN. This work will done on a separate branch where I shall use FineractCN's back office APIs instead of Finreract 1.x based APIs.
    • Mainly work on modifying Core Module to support FineractCN.

    • None as such. The work approach of integrating with FineractCN isn't completely clear to me. at the moment but will try to go through documentation and other applications to get a better understanding

    •  Sure, I will seek help from my mentors and other community members in case of any blockers.
    • A better understanding of FineractCN's authentication process by anyone in the community will be a huge help.
    • Action: Ed will try to set up a call with Victor to see if can help on this front. 

Garvit Agarwal 

  • What did you accomplish this past week?
  • What will you do this upcoming week?
    • As per the timeline proposed by me, I was supposed to work on the implementation of OpenBanking APIs in my project. But currently I am waiting for the meeting regarding its discussion.
    • Till then, I will dive deeper into the OpenBanking documentation.
    • I will also try to debug errors in my project ( if any). 
  • What obstacles are impeding your progress? 
    • The implementation of use-cases in my project depends on the work done on the other end, or on the server side.
    • So I have to wait for those works to get finished first.

    • Surely, I would like to have some help from mentors to discuss the implementation of use-cases involved in my project.
    • Action: Ed to follow up with Ebenezer about notifications. 

Manthan Surkar

    • Worked on code autoformatting and finalised it.
    • Implemented 10 checkstyles which directly implied from autocode formatting.
    • WIP on integration tests for FINERACT-799

    • Create functionality for employee - similar to products so can't delete employees but can specify start date and end date for employee - interacting more with the API.

  • What did you accomplish this past week?
    • Cloned and tested PRs #1202, #1203, #1165.
    • Went through the self user creation .
    • Converted Login and Registration activities to Kotlin before obtaining credentials.
    • Tested the classes converted. Found conflicts in using annotations in both Kotlin and Java in the same project.

    • Solve the annotation conflict to work with both Java and Kotlin classes.

    • Need more clarity from mentors on where to focus next
