The 2019 Google Summer of Code is now complete. The Mifos Initiative had the honor of working with 14 students who all passed - we also had 2 interns through Apache that were a part of our weekly check-ins and protocols.

COMPLETE - 14 INTERNS GRADUATED.
26 February: 1200 UTC
List of accepted mentoring organizations published on the Google Summer of Code site.
Interim Period: February 26 - March 25
Would-be students discuss project ideas with potential mentoring organizations.
25 March - 09 Apr 1800 UTC
Student application period
Mentoring organizations review and rank student proposals; where necessary, mentoring organizations may request further proposal detail from the student applicant.
Slot allocations published to mentoring organizations
May 6: 1600 UTC
Accepted student proposals announced on the Google Summer of Code site.
Community Bonding Period:
May 6 - May 27
Students get to know mentors, read documentation, get up to speed to begin working on their projects.
Students begin coding for their Google Summer of Code projects
24 June - 28 June: 1800 UTC
Phase 1 Evaluation deadline
|22 July - 26 July: 1800 UTC||Phase 2 Evaluation deadline|
19 August - 26 August: 1800 UTC
Final week: Students submit their final work product and their final mentor evaluation
