  • Use MoSCoW prioritization

    • Must and Shoulds we should regularly review and prioritize to see if they make it into the sprint backlog. 

    • Coulds: Should be in our product backlog but we won't regularly prioritize these but making sure we're targeting volunteers/interns for these. 

  • Types of Issues in JIRA

    • Epic - 

    • Task

    • New Feature

    • Improvement

    • Test Case

    • Bug

      • Which do we put in volunteer queues?

    • Labels - how do we use these

      • Categorization like volunteers, technical, documentation, etc. 

    • Components

      • Make sure these map to the overall major buckets of functionality or architectural components. 

      • Every issue should have one.
